Sold/Expired Scored an old school 50 !!

Scored a mid 80's orange Honda 50. I'll have to get with wontwork and see what kinda spares he has, since he had like 3 of them this one is a runner but got canabalized a bit for a homebuild chopper project or some crap. Dood gave it to me though so the price was good on it ! :woot:

4 gal tank isnt really all that expensive.... I dont think I'd go with one though just have to do some trail riding and see how it felt

IF... I even bite the bullet. You know I wouldnt own a K-toom man, to fancy for me :flipoff1:

Unsure on the XRL, but on my KLR and KTM with plastic tanks, they help protect the radiators when you go down. The added fuel is a plus unless you are doing technical ****. I am a ****ty rider, so I use that as my excuse. Also liked the transparent on my KLR to see fuel level and not have to guess or go off the odo. KLR was a pig compared

That XRL is a great bike and I kick myself most days for not buying one.....KTM for sale. i kid I kid

I say buy a used one that already has all the good stuff on it. When I was looking for one they where everywhere for good prices.
Woulda got one but had to buy a truck and started on the buggy heavy.

You and Jrich both need to get a street bike so I will have someone to ride with. :****:

I agree with Bones, I always sell streetbike cause I get to wild on them... and Harley's are to damn much money. I'll ride the XR son **** ! :****:

Seriously , my goal is to pay off the nagging CC that Ambo and I have as soon as possible ( before end of August ) and then I wont feel to bad about buying the XR I want (located an 09 in Bessemer). **** I already talked to the bank lady about it... so you know its going down hill ! :****:

unless you just want pimp showroom ****.. theres no point in buying an 09..

the XR650L's are the Exact same bike from 93 till 09.
only difference in the graphics...

instead of spending $5299 on a smog controlled dog of a bike

spend 3k on one someone else already put the goodies on, never rode, sat in their garage..etc...
Check out Thumpertalk forum for some for sale and the must do "Dave's mods" uncorking procedure.. like night and day..

Whickever one you get, it'll be fawesome.. best purchase of my life//
