I never thought I'd say this, but I agree with JRish :****:

Ever now and then he has a wise thought, rarely, but he does.

I have a personal rule. No loans on toys... period. Nothing worse than times getting tighter, and a toy holding you hostage over what you need to do for the household.

That would be awesome, but I wouldnt have anything. On the flip side , I would sell any of my possesions at any moment if it was required.

Yea I have left him messages to call me on both those numbers... that is a killer price ! :woot:

Finally got ahold of the owner Saturday morning... Got to his house and as expected his phone rang off the hook about it the entire time I was there. He realized he priced it way low for what it is so there was no negotiating price at that point. And he was cool about it, just said... I didnt realize it would be so desirable , I have only rode it as a dirt bike .

Story goes, he bought it from one of his neighbor's who bought it new from Smith Brothers which is no longer around. Neighbor never tagged it , and only had it 8ish months before this dood bought it. So he never registered it, never got a ***le mailed to him etc. So he does not have a ***le in hand, but is going to do work tommorow and get one. I suggested I give him a 200 dollar deposit and we wrote up a "Conditional bill of sale" contingent on us being able to get a ***le in a decent manner.

He has lots of bikes, 4 kids and everyone in the family rides. He used it off road only to chase his kids around so its a "dirt bike" in that regard. Scratches, the tank and shrounds on it are dented / busted up etc but he does have new in the box replacements for ea. I did see them. thumb.gif The front brakes are beyond worn and one pad is metal to metal on the rotor. No leaks or anything but the engine case's have "dropped" written all over them , chain needs to be soaked and the air cleaner even though its K&N looks like garbage. All the electrical's work, and are in tact which is amazing considering the obvious off road riding this thing has done. Perfect bike for my situation, cheap price and only requires simple TLC with nothing really expensive required to get it tip top. Has good tires on it and out side of the front brake its a rider. He and the kids had it out all day Friday apparently at some place in GA they frequent. I ripped around his neighborhood on it, stupid baffle pulled out of the exhaust, that annoys the **** out of me ! I really hate when people do that, its about the most redneck thing you can do to a bike LOL :flipoff1:

Please tell me you got the XRL and not the XR?

Nice bike either way. thumb.gif

Yes, but also looks like pooo compared to the XRR

R has more nuts and a bit better suspension as well as air cooled (good and bad there)
