I took some family members who are from Hawaii up to Walker Valley on Sunday 12/30. They have never been anywhere like the NW before so our woods, views, mountains, and snow were all completely foreign to them. They had a blast, except for my 12 year old cousin who was scared shi**less.

The snow started once we took the turn onto the logger road that goes up to first timer and it was about a foot and a half deep with tire tracks dug out a bit. A few XJ's tagged along with us. One had only a rear locker and was struggling but doing okay in the snow. The xj without lockers front or rear got stuck a few times and required a tow strap to be hooked up. I have front and rear lockers with 39.5" iroks aired down to 8psi and I did not loose traction at all.

the snow was pretty deep on first timer and humps and bumps. If i didnt know where the v notch was I would have never known we passed it, it just looked like a bunch of snow piled up.

Here are a few pics off my phone.
