Hey all, I am planning a snow trip this weekend and was wondering if anybody has been able to make it up to Evans Creek lately or is there too much snow? Also curious as to how much snow is at Elbe or even possibly on FS 74 out past Green Water on hwy 410. If anybody has any info or wants to go along let me know. Thanks.

Tobi

There's at least two feet more expected between now and friday throughout the cascades on top of the three feet or so that's fallen in the past week. Good luck. :fawkdancesmiley:

Anybody know how much snow is at either one? I've got a half dozen or so rigs going with me all of which are locked up but I don't really want to spend all day winching out Chevy's and Fords. We're trying to make it a good family day where we can have a roaring fire and drag the kids on a tube behind the truck and not so much of a trail run day. Let me know if anybody has been up those ways in the last week or two and how much snow was there when they went. Later

There was about a foot or so up at Elbe last Sunday, not sure what's dumped up there this week though. It wasn't bad, made it around pretty easily.

I'm not too far from Evan's Creek right now, sitting at about 2000'. We've got 3' on the ground.

At the base at Crystal, which is about the same as the higher trails are Evan's Creek, well, let's just say you're not driving in it, or walking in it.

We've just had incredible amounts of snow this winter.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. Elbe it is, at least I can drive around there, Evans has too much for me.

We got another 3" today before I left and came back to the lowlands, but it was snowing like crazy when we left, about an inch in 15 minutes and all the way down to almost Enumclaw it was snowing very steady with nice big flakes. The snow is heavy though as it's warm.
