2 SEAT "GECKO" LIGHTWEIGHT BUGGY SOLD!
Bought this little buggy (new build) off pirate late last summer in Kentucky. Have wheeled it lightly about 6 times (haven't worn the ***s off the stickies yet) and decided that I needed to build one that fit me better (6'0" 265#), I fit, but the new build is slightly longer. This thing wheels great after I worked out the kinks. I made a bunch of modifications to it based on my observations during wheeling.
Changes I made included: Reworking the top half of the cage for better headroom and safety, custom tube doors with bear claw latches, added an Artec truss to the 9" rear end, added limiting straps front and rear, replaced the driveshafts with CV unit in rear and new 2 piece shaft with carrier bearing in front from Tom Woods, connected the high and low steer arms, stretched the front axle 3.5" further forward and made new links, installed a dual master brake cylinder (separating front and rear) from Wilwood, Barnes pinion guard on 9", Fire extinguisher and quick release bracket, Optima red top battery in Ballistic Fab box, modified Best Top CJ bikini top, Oh **** handle, smaller steering wheel, new ps pump, oil pressure and temp gauges. Gecko Graphics and some crappy paint ( a coule runs and a little overspray) to touch up the new tubing.Sammy hood and cowl

. I wish I had money laying around for another rig, this setup is sweet.

It's essentially new and a sweet little ride. If it doesn't go in the next couple weeks, I'm gonna wheel the snot out of it this season instead of my CJ. The new buggy won't be ready to go before the season is upon us.....
