Is the front a new style Ford axle...8x170?

Pretty sure its 8x6.5

I know how it works but the intercooler is before the point of being compressed and is only a air cooler not a water.
It's only going to cool the non compressed air to the same temp it would be going into the k&n anyway.
Not trying to talk bad about it.
Just wondering if I'm not seeing something right.
I like it.
Just trying to decide between this, the Rockwell buggy on here or a street jeep.

It's plumbed correctly I've blown a hose off before. Intake air comes in at the back and charge air comes out of the top back around to the back again into intake. It's out of a 91 or 92 thunderbird.
