I actually never ran these, just picked them up from jccarter on Friday.

He had 3-4 wraps of Gorilla tape on the inner bead of every wheel to keep the 39.5 Iroks from burping air. (normal for 17" wheels and tires with thick beads)

I aired the tires up to check for leaks when I noticed the bent wheel, it wasn't leaking, but I broke them down and took the tires off right after that.

I put a bottle jack in the back dish of the wheel and jacked around on it a bit to straighten it up a little more.

It should work fine.

Yep, and if the inner bead starting popping off the bent wheel, I'd say "Damn, good thing you got a good deal on them wheels since that one is ****ed up!" laughing1

Nah, if they were 8x170 pattern, or if the bolt pattern area was flat and I could re-drill them, I'd keep em and run them myself.

If someone was so inclined, I'm sure a little more jacking/hammering could straighten the wheel up damn near perfect.

No stickies for me....i still need excuses for taking bypass trails.

I've always liked the SX tires and figured these would be first step as they only make them in 16.5 and 17 inch wheel sizes.(mine are 16")

They cleaned up good and I massaged a few spots Nick had mentioned. Hope they'll look good on the silver YJ
