I saw them express pull and save in lavergne today.

Scout traveler. Surface rust mostly. Interior was mostly still there. Front axle missing. Motor and trans still there. It was the "rallye" edition.

Lavergne,tn. Just south of Antioch.

I was in a hurry and only needed a couple little things, but I scored a caliper with two new brake pads and a brand new husky truck liner for my zj for a whopping $12.

I saw several potential rigs. They had a j10 down there also. Wasn't much left but a straight body and frame, but it's another worth saving.

i was up there friday tryin to get that front axle off that toyota till my tools broke... >:(

I almost pulled it, and I have absolutely no use for it, except for maybe a SAS on the wifes corolla... hmmmm

im collectin parts for a sas on mine... only thing that one needed were the end part of the hub :(

Re: Re: Someone go save these!

There was a guy pulling the rear out of the xtra cab.

I got all the Fj80 axles, a bunch of drive shaft parts and yokes, and some calipers and rotors.

Toyotas are like Pokemon. Gotta catch em all lol.

I might sell one, but it would have to be for substantial profit.

I got big plans! Think 07+ Chevy Colorado, 3.7 all aluminum 5cyl, 4l60e, 231/D300 doubler, FJ80 axles

I'm on the hunt for the right Colorado now.

what you use to get those 80 axles off?

Big ass breaker bars, 1/2" drive electric impact, sawzall, cordless grinder, bolt cutters, and 3 people...

:dblthumb:

There wasnt much else that would be useful to many wheelers, a couple Toyota tcases and trans, a couple D60 rears and Sterling rears...

If you want isuzu or ford explorer parts they have TONS of them.

gawd dam no wonder i couldnt get em off myself... i tried to get the fronts off the 92 and the 96 they had up there

Yeah my buddies were amazed at the size of hardware on a fj80, and that everything is torqued to 793ftlb. And all the front suspension is solid links.

We also pulled a rear from a 2001 camaro to get the suspension brackets for 9" that we're building for a ws6. It literally took 20 min... The 80 axles were a LOT more work.

I started to clip the sway bar and shocks from that axle you had mostly pulled, but I got one layin in the shop already so I didn't mess with it.

How much for the Dana 20 out of that scout? Transmission an auto or manual? I could use a few parts if it is an auto

dam i was close.. i kept sayin 1000 ft lbs like i was kidding :o

It's at the express pull n save. They have a price list on the website (all part types are priced the same ex all rear axles are $70) you have to pull it yourself (no torches). They don't inventory parts, so of you call and ask if the tcase is there, they can't tell you (and won't check).
