Toyotas are like Pokemon. Gotta catch em all lol.

I might sell one, but it would have to be for substantial profit.

I got big plans! Think 07+ Chevy Colorado, 3.7 all aluminum 5cyl, 4l60e, 231/D300 doubler, FJ80 axles

I'm on the hunt for the right Colorado now.

It wouldn't be cheap I assume, but Bob's in Cookeville had a ton of crew cab Colorado/Canyon bodies (cabs and beds) in the back of their yard last time I was wandering through there.

Thanks but,
Bob thinks his **** is gold.

I'm gonna do a reg or ext cab, i don't want the huge crew cab.

I'm actually going to get a 2wd to build, I'm not going to use the isuzu transfer case, and the 2wd trans electronics are easy to deal with if you put the speed sensor in the tcase adapter (so it doesn't see reduction from the tcase)

Ain't that the damn truth! He had a waggy out there for a while. I couldn't get him to budge from $5k.

Regardless, I'm digging your Colorado idea.

Bob was good to sell to though, apparently he supplies a lot of body shops. :dunno:

I used to part vehicles back when I was in school and had the time to do so, I'd pull the drivetrain and sell the good bodies to Bob for 2x scrap price. So I can imagine what he would want for a whole body/frame...

All I know about buying from him is that he wanted $1100 for a late model 14 bolt disc brake rear end. :o

Re: Re: Someone go save these!

He had a Samurai body, frame and leaf springs. No ***le, no drivetrain, etc. $1800.

I always favored aenon. But the key there was to pull it yourself, walk up front and hold it out in your hands and say "I want this". They'd normally price it pretty fair at that point.
