Talk of the Town in Evansville IN

Or Turoni's also Eville

(I prefer the "Midwest" style pizza, cracker thin crispy crust, shitload of toppings cooked down perfectly without making the crust soggy, and cut in squares)...

So far in my "travels" I've only found it done right in Evansville

mellow mushroom!

heck yeah, mellow mushroom is cool

it' wild how different the different location are.

The one in Panama City is like a trippy 2 story hippy psychedelic production, but the one in Louisville is a small "quaint" bar in an old oil change garage... :dunno:

Mellow Mushroom in Rome, GA.

In an old two story in the middle of downtown. Has a kickass funky vibe, and a respectable selection of beer and full bar!

People I'm around in E. Tenn swear by Little Joes and Big Ed's pizza.

I stick with Little Joes. We used to have an Uno's here....but the packed up :( That WAS my favorite.

I just got back to Birmingham from 3 weeks in New York and Northern Pa. I ate at so many hole in the wall pizza joints I couldn't name half them, but all of them were my favorite!!

Haven't been there in years, but I used to hit up Dave's in Homewood (Birmingham) on a regular basis with my great uncle before he passed away. We used to have some beers and get the Hawaiian pizza with Canadian bacon and pineapple. :eat:
