How many hours on it?

There is not an hour meter on it. It was connected to a house for four years, started every other week for 10 mins. I feel comfortable saying less than 40 hours total. Inside the case looks brand new, its been stored inside since removal.

Does this by any chance include an automatic transfer switch?

I don't have the transfer switch, they can be had for 3-400 bucks at most electrical supply houses.
