You will get one free share of a random stock, and you can but some stocks as cheaply as 8 cents a piece with no minimums and no fees. It really is the greatest app I have ever seen

or you can use this link

Well, I’ve got it downloaded and all setup. Any pointers? I did quite a bit of mock stock market work back in high school and college during finance classes. But that was 10 years ago.

I found that initially, buying stock in companies that I already knew of made it more interesting to keep up with

I’m going with the red paper clip method. I’m gonna put $5 in and go up from there.

Just bought my first stock. No clue if they’re any good. But I like their name. ENRON. anybody heard of them?

I'm having problems getting started, haven't gotten my bank account verified. I assume it takes a few days. Got my free stock tho :woot:

It does, especially if it's a smaller country bank. I emailed tech support after a few days and they got it fixed up

I've got general stock in it and now Roth IRA riding on it. I'll watch it, but it's going like crazy. The company is feeding it with new news about energy drink, etc. I figure it will level off soon after a long ride, but I doubt tanking. At the same time, cannabis anything is the new trend. I see $15 if not $20 a share soon.

The 52 week low is $ .36 that would have been nice to get in on

I agree, pretty sad it took so many days for my crap to verify.

Did it all, of course, same as Paul, small local bank, awaiting verification. Read a few articles on IGC. Hard to believe the wave will continue to be that steep, but if I get in I'll throw some down on it, maybe a few hundred

I literally planned to throw 250 at it Saturday if I would have been able to I'd be at nearly 500 today. I'm also grabbed some OGEN and MNGA based off stupid **** I know nothing about and recent business articles I read today laughing1

When it got down that low I was trying to decide if I needed to dump it or buy more, I did neither, wish I’d bought more

Nick, thanks! Just signed up.

Anyone got tips or stocks to look at?

Keep an eye out for news about CBD infused drinks. NBEV, IGC, DTEA are some publicly shared business' that are trending in that field. Coca Cola is interested in a share of that market as well.

The post above mine is good stuff. Pandora, Ford, Fitbit, and Snap are good to make quick money. Dump like $1000 per stock and day trade on it. Be careful on the number of times you day trade before they lock your account. To be a real day trader, you need $25k in your account.

Thanks for info!

I grabbed up couple cheap oil and gas companies... they were cheap, .32/share and .64/ share to see how they turn out.
The cannibus stocks interest me because of their ability to grow, sorry, but yet the market is so new.

Ford, great story....
Back in 08 when auto industry crashed. Dad bought TONS of this stock, nothing else, as they came back strong and did great so did dad.

Thanks Hardline!

I sold out today at 9.75 a share, I was gonna buy back in later in the day but Robinhood won’t let you day trade on high volatility stocks????

I was caught off guard on that one.

So who all rode it down. Spooked me enough to not buy any weed stocks right now.
I cashed out when it tended down in pre market. Should have cashed out a day ahead, but it looked promising to at least $15. I sat on cash yesterday because the market was down and didnt know what would go down hard. Last I checked pre market was down again. I'm about to check now.
