4.37 Toyota 3rd with a locker thanks Kev for setting her up for me
couple 33" tires for the rear

maybe use the stock springs at a angle, looks like they have 5-1/2" travel and with the rear chopped off will be to stiff, so at a angle the travel will be greater , still in the idea fase, maybe chop off them leaf springs and they will act as forward links with flex, will need a ladderbar or something to prevent the rearend from
twisting and maybe a panhard bar, will see as this develops

I seen a bad ass black lifted on yesterday on i -5 by the Tacoma mall.
Looked like they were coming back from wheeling.
It was the tallest one I have ever seen.

got the rear axle in position, the fronts all hooked up, now for the fun part springs
looks like the front will end up with about a 10-11 inch lift to level it out

Are you just going to fill in the corners with some sheet instead of having windows or will vents fit there?

went with 8" strut extensions, I had a set of 5" from a Impreza I had , so I added 3" with the Outback struts for a overall 9" Lift

Milled out new pattern to match the EJ engine
Stock 90 AWD 5 speed on top Dual range from 86 GL 4x4 trans on the bottom, the dual range takes a smaller diameter clutch and flywheel
front 5" block welded to 2x3 tubing, when finished the tubing will be part of subframe
the dual range trans all in with the adapter plate and redrilled EA82 flywheel

heres the old clutch this is why the car was parked a couple years ago
rear setup
got the tranny mount almost done , moved up the drivers side mount
I tidied up the engine compartment, lengthened a heater hose, a gas hose, moved some wires around, moved the rad top forward 1/2", lengthened the steering knuckle, mounted a 2000 Y pipe in, looks more like a U-pipe ,bought a rad hose, so looks like shifting linkage, driveline, rear track bar and its a driver, been just over a month so far, still got tons left to do , hope to hit the trails in a couple weeks

I loved the dual range shift-on-the-fly tranny in my mom's old GL-10.
It made it so fun to bomb around and then hammer down in the snow.
