are they worth a **** or junk?

Whats the perks of these rear ends? other then being fullwidth?

Stronger diff than a regular 95 and earlier Toy, same thing as a non TRD Tacoma axle just wider.

Nope, they're usually referred to as an 8.4, the ring is still 8inch, but it's not the same diff case or gears.

I wouldn't have any problem building one, I have a guy that put a locker and gears in his and has had "knock on wood" good luck with it..
