The QP's worked with the DNR to re-opened the old yellow jacket hill. Also they opened up one other hill that used to be a motocycle hill IRCC. Today I went out there to finally run them. From what I could see I was the first to run them in the snow.

Here is Toboggan hill

Here is my attempt to go up. I think I would of made if the throttle cable didn't break.

But there is still plenty of snow out there. Snowed off and on all day, but when we left it was coming down pretty good. You can see more pics and read about the story at this link.

Looks like lots of fun.

I love wheeling trails I wheel all the time when they have snow on them. Way more better. Especially when you are breaking through the fresh snow.

Sure makes for some interesting and unexpected encounters with invisible stumps.

And pretending you're a icebreaker in the middle of mud (err...ice?) lake is pretty entertaining.

I'm gonna be there next week end I'll have to check it out.

The new rock hill, vert hill climb (well its nto vert. anymore), Anarchy hill, yellow jacket hill, and Toboggan can keep you entertained for awhile. Hell even the bypass is not so easy in the snow. Dont be affraid of the skinny. :redneck:
