Tapping a jeep steering box

OK who's done this. Mine is the 3 bolt XJ box and I'm looking at doing it and looking for some advice from folks who've done it. My 38s are a bitch to turn in 4wd because of the locker and I want to do hydro assist. I've seen some write ups on it but want some real world knowledge. Thanks Marc

My Durango box turns my 39.5" Pitbulls just fine. I would be going hydro assist to try to save the box mount......
