ok... so, I am finally getting a chance to tear apart my Jeep, take out the 304, which runs great - just not what i want, and replacing it with the 350 Chev that I picked up from japerry back in January...

so, now to my question... since I have not really messed around with these much, I currently have dual exhaust, which I want to keep... The engine came with a crossover pipe with a single O2 sensor...

Will I be able to still run dual exhaust?? will it be OK to just have the sensor on one of the exaust pipes, or do I need to add a second?? If I have to add a second, is there like some special harness i need to use or anything??

just want to make sure to do this right.. since the old engine/tranny comes out tonight!!!

thanks for any help!

:D

Thanks guys..

I was getting worried about it since all i ever see is a darn crossover pipe on the vehicles..

now... time to make my list of things to do while the engine it out before the new one goes in.. haha

the never-ending project!!

:D

I am sure that I will have more questions as time goes on.. hahahaha

In fact some of the earliest TBI's had a single 02 port in the driver side exhaust manifold...:;

again.. thanks for all the info... I am sure that I will have more questions as I get further into this project...

I didn't get much chance to work on it this weekend, so I guess the AMC engine will have to come out this week instead..

now, of course, I am looking at other things that I want/need to address while the engine will be out, since certain things will be much easier to access.

darn list keeps getting longer...

hahahaha

welcome to wheeling.

now get to work!!!:stirpot::awesomework:

haha yeah, yeah... at least i finally get to work on mine instead of mostly other's rigs...

i still miss my old jeep.... :(

but this one will be better...

I will probably start somewhat of a build thread, if I can ever remember to stop and take pictures...

sometiems I just get tunnel vision and get to working and forget all about it...

haha
