Yep, still on pane.
He threw a rod through the original motor.....7200 rpm's for 5min will do that

ya i think his dino is wrong usually with the mods that one has done to it u get 290-340 out of a 350. i was guessing lower 300s

I think big Dodge is right. I am guessing around 350 range after driving the truck. I think Performance engines wheel dyno is wrong it showed 440 at the rear wheels and 1136 foot pounds of torque in double low shifting from first to second gear. My single seater is 410 at the rearwheels and he has a lot more power but it only weighs 2880 with me in it. The truck weigh 6300 that's the weight of 2 vehicles in one. I am going to find out what it really is Saturday. Iwill post up the results

The truck will probably be tore apart after this weekend got the frame rails finished up today for the new buggy. Got the harness and back today also for the lsx454 .

:woot: just as i thought... you DO realize dyno pulls are supposed to be made at a 1:1 ratio right (drive for autos or 4th for most manuals)? i was gonna call B.S. on the 440... but 1136... :wtflol: thats about 5 times what it should be!

And that number changes with a gear change.

exactly! a dyno can be manipulated to say whatever you want it to... but there are tell-tale signs... such as, at what RPM the HP and TQ intersect on the graph... id say his interescted around 2000 RPM's. dynos are a tool, used to put a vehicle under a load while standing still so it can be tuned... the real test of power is done at a track, anyone can win a paper race.

looks like the grn booger is headed back to the shop this weekend! :****:
