Howdy.

I'm Jay. I like weird old cars and trucks and stuff, have owned a lot of them from the 20s to modern rigs. The stranger the better.

Have owned a number of the 80's Toyota 4x4's in mostly stock or slightly lifted trim. Mostly I'm interested in the 72-78 earlier trucks. Not a lot of those turned into 4x4's, though for a while I had a super mangled lime green Ugly Truckling conversion that's gone off to Toyota heaven.

Figured I'd make an account to see what was up since someone referred me here when I was looking for info about this big ugly 80's show truck I picked up a few years ago.

I don't know much of anything about it's history other than what the guy I got it from told me. As I understand it most of the damage was done by him, the wiring is a nightmare, the engine in it is seized, and generally he just did the highschool kid thing and beat up an otherwise nice (if obnoxious) truck.

Some peoples kids, man.

Anyhow, trying to source the history of this thing. I've been told more than once that people have seen it over the years and I'd love to know more and this seemed like a great place to ask, and also to learn some other stuff I didn't know I didn't know.

Happy wheelin' fellas.
