So from what little bit I have looked if someone was to buy one in Japan for $2500-3000 you would have around $5000 in it by the time you got it home. $2000-$2500 in fees and such. That sound about right?

You might be right. I tried to meet him in person. He was chatting it up with me til I pulled in the parking lot. Then he vanished until about an hour or so after I left.

That said, likely I'll have my wife and kids with me while out riding, so I'm not risking exposing them to whatever kind of nonsense he'll spurt out. Now if I see him and they are not around, I'm man enough to shake hands and squash this.

I like hanging out with all you guys, we are all a little "out there" to even be doing what we do here in this HOBBY. Take it for whats its worth but I dont see a fight breaking out when you all meet in person.

That might be. But I’ve seen a ton of people do and say things in front of their kids that that my wife and I would not. Also, anyone that’s going to talk to somebody like he has spoken to me, I don’t want influencing my kids in any way. But I get what you’re saying.
