Is there a bigger idiot walking the face of the earth the our current president?
-Yes, his name is John Kerry :flipoff:

Bush is by far the worst president this country has ever seen. He's by far the most ****ed-up jackass of a non-leader we've had in the history of the country.

-So I'm guessing that YOU were in a coma during Clinton's administration?:flipoff:

I mean seriously, not to hijack or anything, but Clinton effed some other stuff up that matter'd just as much if not more than what Bush is doing or did, Clinton just didn't have to deal with a terrorist attack.

Sounds good to me

My wife was born in Texas and raised in Tennessee/Virginia area. She has the right to fly that flag. Just because some Klan members copped it to fly at their ceremonies doesn't mean it's a racist thing. Does everyone hate white sheets now too?

Dear junkyard jim;
Please allow me this oppurtunity to extend my deepest sympathies to you, my friend.
Your in love with a lady from Canada friend;

Who said anything about anybody NOT having the right to fly the rebel flags, Nazi flags, pink triangle flags, or whatever? Go fly whatever you want.

The swastika was co-opted by the Nazis, too. When you see a swastika displayed, what do you honestly think of? You may not like that to many Americans the rebel flag has come to be symbol of prefudice and racism, but that is just the way that it is.

The Klan and Jim Crow laws got their start in the South and are just as much a part of that "heritage" as the rebel flag itself is. If some people are proud of all of that, good for them. They don't get to cherry pick select pieces of history to attribute to the rebel flag to be proud of.

We most certainly DID suffer terrorist attacks during Clinton's administration. The 1993 WTC attacks, the 1998 bombings of our embassies in Tanzania and Kenya, and the attack on the USS Cole in 2000. The only question is, what did we do about them? Anything?

white sheets stain to easily, so yes i do hate them.

tecnically the flag is a symbol of the confederacy and i think all the states that were in the confederacy still have it on their state flag, it does not stand for racism, granted slavery was a part of the war but it was not the reason for the war. the symbol had just been adopted by the klan as a symbol of rebellion, hense the rebel flag. granted its not the brightest thing to do but hey if thats how they see things, it is a free country (more or less, watch out for big brother). i think the argument instead of being over flags should be over the cameras that take pictures of red light runners. thats stupid, they send the owner of the car a ticket? proove that they were driving! if you can't proove WHO is to blame then there should be no action taken.

remember folks GUILTY untill PROOVEN INNOCENT! (no i didnt say that backwards)

they dont... georgia changed it in 2001, mississippi still has it in theirs

If it stands for slavery then why where thier free blacks fighting for the confederacy? Look up some history on it. Thier was blacks fighting on both sides of the war and most of the southerners who fought on the rebel side where to damn poor to afford slaves

To some people it stands for herritage and to some African Americans of the south it stands for racism and slavery. I can only speculate because I am not from the south and I am not African American. Is it up for interpretation well it depends on who you ask? Ask a Black Dude (Not Paul Mooney) from the south what it means to them. Andre 3000 from Outkast was a wearing a Rebel Flag Belt Buckle there for a while.....I dont know why but he was. But we are a free society that are able to express our herritage. But if we do express ourselves we should be able to explain what it means or that we just think things look cool. Just my 1 and 1/2 censt :beer:

My brother told me a kid at his school got expelled for standing in the back of his truck holding a confederate flag and yelling "white pride"

He also said kids are now getting suspended for just having the flag on their vehicles/backpacks/etc... stickers or the real thing

People who try too hard to show off how much of a redneck they are- are ***S.

To me the "rebel flag" is no worse than "cowboy up" or "git er done" or "redneck" or any other gayfaghomo giant windshield stickers, or bumper stickers, or license plate frames, etc. Your just telling the world that you identify yourself with uneducated inbred hillbilly trash, congratulations:awesomework:

That being said I like the Dukes of Hazzard, live in the country, and answer yes to almost every Jeff Foxworthy joke. But I still think its gay every time I see someone go out of their way to prove their redneckness.
