If you have been to any of the parks below let me know what you think about it. Were trying to plan our next move..

Cole Creek
AOP
CHOC
Hawk Pride
Dirty Turtle
HALE

Thanks for your input! ;D ;D

AOP is great and growing plenty of all caliber climbs, Coal creek lots of area to cover, long trails, trails are a long way from parking lot.
I did not see golden mountain, one of my favorites, 90% of the trails are rough.Goodplace to break Sh!uff Not the best for trail riding.

Been to the first 3. Coal creek is good we road like 30 miles in a day and a half.
Choccolocco has something for everyone and is basically in town.
AOP is newer but awesome is in and out lots of good technical stuff trail riding for almost stock
Rigs hill killing also. Plus Tom is been there every time we've been. My favorite

Hale is bad ass! Lots of big rock. Only downside to me, it is in the middle of no where. Obviously they cannot help it but if you plan for it, you will have a great trip. Go there and plan on staying on site and being self sufficient.

AOP is also bad ass! Everything you could ask for in a park and only getting better. Parts, hotels, food, etc close by if needed.

Re: Re: Thoughts on these parks.....

Hale is a good Park, but is in the middle of no where and is a pain to park a long trailer (heard they have worked on the parking situation) AOP is a great Park and growing. Close by to just about anything you might need. Can not go wrong with either one

AOP...easiest access, close to everything you need, clean, safe, kid/family friendly and lots of good riding from trails to obstacle if you like.

AOP is awesome! Not the toughest place (unless it's nasty raining) but had great riding and fun climbs. It's a great place for a mixed group of vehicles and lends itself to some great times around a campfire.

x2 I love Hale Mtn. I've only gotten to wheel there 3 times I think. Not that we avoid it, just hasn't worked out where I've been able to make more trips than that there. Hale has some super badass crawler style rock obstacles.

I used to not like Choccolocco too much because I thought most of it was hill killing type stuff, until I rode around with a local and learned my way around a little better. Lots of great crawling obstacles there too, just gotta find it! Trey is an awesome park owner also, he has great facilities on site too.

Just got back from Golden Mountain. Love that park for sure- didn't ask about it since we just got back. :dblthumb:

Don't forget to visit Hawk Pride, There isn't a better park in the South. Some of these other parks have good trails also.
