I recommend buying the rock buster to anybody who hasn't had much RC experience. You will have a ton of screws and bolts left that you will always be dipping into. Besides it's usually the cheapest way to get the axles. I see guys selling axles for $50 - $60 a pair, and you can buy the kit for $69. You can probably get 25 - 30 bucks on EBay for the stock tires, body, chassis, and tranny, so you generally come out with a better deal with the kit.
