Towing with 6.4 hemi

I currently have a 06 grand cherokee with the hemi and it doesn't impress me pulling around 4k on occasion. Not weak per se but just average. It's starting to have the usual Chrysler/Jeep quality issues and will be going to another home in the near future. Will test drive the truck and hook it to my trailer loaded to see how it feels.
