toy trans swap. wont start

so i swapped a 5spd into my 85 toyota, wich originally had an auto. now it wont start. the starter wont spin over at all. is there a neutral safety switch that im missing. would it be on the shifter or in the trans itself? any info on how to bypass it would be greatly appreciated. im searching for myself, but i have very limited computer time, and id like to get this thing running again asap. thanks.

The wires that used to go to the neutral safety switch need to be looped. It thinks you're starting in gear.
I don't have a diagram fo a 2nd gen but on my 3rd gen there are 2 black wires in the connector by the starter that need to be jumpered............

same thing is was gonna say..sounds like the exact problem
