Toyota Dana 60 swap?

What the hell is it like to drive with 7.17's? Just super low in high range too? :eeek:
All 3 gears are perfectly spread apart, it couldnt be geared any better. 1st is low enough for precision crawling while 2nd and 3rd generates good wheelspeed. In high range gears are pretty good also but are mainly used for higher speed tho I can wheel it in first if I wanted. For wheeling It is perfect imo, topspeed is somewhere in the 55mph@3500 rpm. Crawl ratio is 46-1(Turbo-400, stock Dana 300, 7.17s, and 40" Maxxis CC's.

I didnt upgrade after killing rings gears repeatedly.

I went back to 4.10s and put a high pinion up front. No more ring gear probs. NONE.

And if I do, its almost FREE to replace them witt mo 410s!

Agreed. But I did break one set... hi pinion, 4:10's cranked in reverse with 39" red labels.

It was one of those points where something was bound to give but you do it anyways :redneck: (and not just for a yota axle)

Current build I'll be trying out some 4:38's :awesomework:
