Possibly working on buying a toyota for a parts donor to a buggy, I would run it like it is bobbed off for a while though. Just needs to be changed to a straight axle front when turned into a buggy. The unsure part for me is that it is the 3400 V6 auto 4x4 instead of the trusty 22re. Any thoughts on this combo. I mean if it is mech. sound I am getting a deal!!

if it's a pre '95 V6 those things are notorious about blowing head gaskets

the 6 banger is a poop engine, comes w/ an equally poop tranny, and has a chain driven case..

haha there an ok drivetrain if you keep them small tire, but not much room for upgrades unless you wanna spend some coin... then have the same equipment as stock 4 cyl///

Well on that note, how tough are the axles to stand up to like 37 bfgs behind the 4 banger. The truck I was looking at sold today.

Biggest thing I always hated about toyotas were the autos. didn't matter if it was my 3.slow 4runner or 3.4 double cab prerunner. Both blew nuts and I was never impressed with either motor.

If it's a cheap DD, great. The 3.4 can at least be wound up without sounding like it is gonna grenade like a 3.0
