Ok, so i sent my '98 tacoma to the local tech school as a project for the graduating class to work on. The instructor assured me that it would be done on time (by june 16), and said that it would be a fun easy project. This was over a month ago. I got a call on wednesday of last week saying that they couldn't fix the left inner fender and left hand A-pillar, and that I should just pick up my truck. I was relatively pissed off then, and it only got worse when I picked up my pile of parts that used to be my truck.

Pictures are in chronological order from before I sent it to the tech school until completion at 9:30 tonight.

as you can see from the pic above, I fixed the left inner fender. (1.5 hours of work). I spent 8 hours sorting nuts and bolts that were thrown into a coffee can, pulling out the inner-fender and straightening the a- pillar on saturday.

the next set of pics is of today (sunday). 5 hours spent fitting all the pieces together and fixing the tech college's ripped spot welds.

Last pic. This is the supposedly "unrepairable" area.
Not a bad fit for my limited ammount of time (13 hours total)

Bellingham tech college. The Automotive Technology instructors are very good, but the body shop instructor is an idiot! :wtf:
