Up for grabs is a 91Toyota truggy. Truck has a great foundation to build off of, or leave it as is and go have fun. Truck has many of goodies on it already.
-straight axels out of a 79 pickup
-has hydro steer
-removable steering wheel
-Five-point harness seats
-35x15.50 super swamper tsx tires that have been gooved
-new radiator and starter
-brake lines and rear brakes have been reworked

All the truck needs is timing set.
Asking $1400 obo and located in Haleyville, AL.

Does it run at all?

Has it jumped time and needs parts or just someone with a timing light?

It does run, but is difficult to start. When you try to start it, it acts like it drags like the distributor was out a notch. Fixed that by putting piston1 at TDCand going through the paces. Thought the starter was going bad and replaced with a new one. Has a new battery on it. The main issue was it would start cold and and would not restart at warm running temp. Looked on a few forums and they came to the conclusion the coolant temperature sensor was bad. Replaced this as well. Im sure it is something simple as a ground or another sensor going bad. I just don't have to time to really mess with it anymore.

Re:

Free bump for a local. Also most of the time when a motor acts how you describe it's the hall effect switch in the distributor. Kinda like magnetic points really and over time they begin to decay
So when the engine is at run temp. The heat weakens magnetic pull

Interested in a 1980 f 150 4x4 on recentered double beadlocks with 36's? Motor runs, but is on it's way out. I bought a good running 302, just haven't swapped it in yet. Have a clean ***le.
