trail apps?

Wondering what gps/trails apps wheelers are using? Looking for one that keeps track of my route/trail. And one that actually works in the woods.

I have had good luck with BackCountry Navigator.

Headed to liberty and was hoping to try 1 out. I know I only get reception around the hwy and the campground but thats about it. Hit and miss once up in the hills. Do they work when in BFE with no service?

Backcountry does. You just download the area that you are want before hand, as long as you have A GPS signal you are good. They do have a free trial version too.

I've got Backcountry Navigator Pro also, and for the $10, it rocks---gives you literally dozens of mapping formats to choose from, it does track, and like Les said download the whole area you plan to be in prior to going, if you have GPS signal you are good...
