Re: Re: Trailer / truck tool storage ideas I've got a Contico storage box mounted on the front of my trailer. It has several different size ratchet straps, jumper cables, tiny floor jack that may do some good changing a trailer tire, handful of other odd and end handy junk, then I have my tools I transfer from my shop to the Contico box every time I go wheeling. It's not so bad, because everything I transfer to the Contico is really the majority of the tools that I own, minus a bunch of **** that really wouldn't be necessary to carry anyways, of which stays in my little roll around toolbox in my shop. So basically I carry one portable toolbox with a bunch of random, useful tools in it, a big tool kit I bought from Lowes for like $90 or so with a bunch of deep well sockets, standard sockets, box end wrenches, screwdriver with several bits, extensions, etc. Task Force brand, but has held up good, because that's also what I use in the shop at home too...which isn't as much as some of you, but I haven't had an issue with the socket wrenches or breaking sockets. Then I throw a 4 way lug wrench in there also. So basically just 2 tool boxes and a lug wrench is all I put in my trailer box when I'm ready to go wheeling.
