Trick or Treaters

Hardline Crawlers - Rock Bouncer Builds, Tech & Off-Road Trail Talk

Help Support Hardline Crawlers:

i turn my porch light off and throw some car parts in the driveway. no doorbells :D

in your neighborhood with decent houses and short driveways... probly not.

Yeah but theres only so many kids in this neighborhood. I have a hard time believing parents are gonna drive there kids around from other neighborhoods. I guess when im...the lights are off

Not everyone has to hand out candy I guess, but I love the look on those kids faces when they get handfulls of candy. The different costumes are great too! I could never turn out the lights so they don't come up to my door. Kids need something fun to do.

I take my kids out trick or treating, and they always ask why people don't answer the door or why their lights are off. Preety sad to see the extent to which people will go to reject trick or treaters. Signs, caution tape, lights off.......etc. :shaking:

That's when you bust out the:tp::clappy:

And.... about 10 lbs. depending on the neighborhood.

I think it depends. At our house, we get about 10 trick or treaters each year - in kirkland.

I bought 15 lbs...

And all good stuff, cause if there's a bunch left over I get to eat it...:redneck:

Snickers, Twix, 3 Musketeers, Milkyway, Reese's(cups and pieces), Rolos, Hershey's, Kit Kat, Heath, Almond Joy, Milk Duds, Whoppers and Take5...:cheer:

This is the first year i've been home in 7 years so I got 6 bags of candy, hope it's enough but if I run out i'll just turn out the light and clean up the eggs in the morning.

We dont buy any... i think trick or treaters have a fear of getting shot on a property like mine :haha:

We use to get trucked to different neighborhoods since ours all had long dark driveways. So we'd go to Tapps Island or Driftwood point..

I've got some bean bag rounds for my 12 guage. i hope someone comes by with some eggs. :haha:

I lock the gate and turn off the lights. But thats cause all the parents are a**holes in this hood. :rb: Sorry for the kiddos.

lol. I'm just gonna work in the garage all night. not even pay attention to the doorbell.

I've got eggs.....I saved them for a year or so in the garage, and then use em.:awesomework: :haha:

I've never messed with anyone who didn't want to have trick or treaters. I just keep going till I find someone who does. No big deal, I just don't understand it. Maybe it was just the way I was raised.:D

Going door to door asking complete strangers for handouts is not what the holiday is founded on

You have got to be the biggest sh!t stirring person I have ever seen in a long time. Most all of your posts are nonsense, and pitiful attempts to draw attetion to yourself. You say the most off the wall sh!t, that is obviously only intended to piss people off.

Yep. Just going house to house looking for a hand out........Exactly:looser:
That is the stupidest analogy I've heard of halloween. It's freakin candy for gods sake! Not an Obama stimulus plan!:shaking:

Might not be what it was founded on, but it's definatley not looking for a handout. nice try:rolleyes:

I see you edited your post. :haha:

What I posted was true. But I never said I don't hand out candy or celebrate the holiday

Going from industry to industry taking it over and taxing the **** out of the employee's isn't what this country was founded upon either. But guess what.. **** happens. :flipoff:

Trick or Treating is actually somewhat part of the holiday only historically it would take place on Nov 1st. It's all just been thrown together on one day.

What gets me about you phillbilly is there have been other :stirpot: posts in this thread but you didn't get pissed off untill I posted :haha:

About 5 years ago, we used to get tons of kids at our house and I have bought about 5-7 big bags of the good stuff. Then they started hitting the Freylands and now we might get maybe 5-10 trick treaters per year. I only bought 1 bag this year. :booo:

went and got another 5lb bag. Nerds, sweet tarts, runts, and laffy taffy. I love sweets....ill open this bag for last:redneck:

If these kids don't hurry their asses up with knocking on my door, I'm gonna go into a sugar coma...:redneck:

My kids keep asking if they can have some of the candy and I keep telling them, "No, it's for the trick or treaters."... But, I've been dipping into the bag all day and they finally found my stash of empty candy wrappers...:haha:
