i beleive there is like 9 jimmy smith buggys for sale right now all from 18k-like 26k or something.. i would just look around
 
I think I've seen 3 Smith rigs for sale. Another board somewhere?
 
For the money you are looking to spend, I dont think you could beat this deal...
This flat out works. If you wanted a different chassis later on you could have one built and that fit these parts, and still not have over 25,000 in it.
My budget started the same as yours and im well over $40,000 now and still not finnished.

That one was my fault....I drug my feet to long on it. Somebody got a NICE ass ride for a good price.
 
Im going to be selling mine.
Drivetrain: Dyno tuned 5.3 with ZO6 cam and springs 400 HP . LS1 intake. Engine has a brand new lower end, Crank, bearings and all. Built Turbo 350 with heavy duty clutch's and Manual valve Body. 203/205 Doubler with 4340 Billet intermediate shaft. 32 spline front and rear.

Axles: Front is a HP Dana 60 with 4.56, welded, Yukon Chromo 35 spline inner and outer axles with longfield Joints and warn drive flanges, high steer arms and beefed stock knuckles. Rear axle is Its a 14B center section with 4.56 and welded with Rockwell outer knuckles welded on with 14B spindles and custom drive flanges, Wilwood calipers and Rockwell axle shafts.

Steering: It uses 2 P pumps, one for the front and one for the rear. Front uses a 2x8 double ended ram and rear uses a 10" single ended ram.

Seats: Kirkly seats in the front and a 40" bench in the rear.

Shocks: 16" Fox 2.0 air shocks front and rear. They have had extra oil added and they ride great and the buggy is very stable.

Tires and wheels: 90% Tread 44" TSL's with recentered H1's.The H1's have some awesome centers that will never bend and they also have Vertical Limits Rock Rings.

Cooling: It uses a aluminum radiator with shroud and dual fans. Stay's cool even on the hottest days

Links: Double Triangulated uppers and lowers front and rear. 2" .375 Lowers and 2" .250 uppers with 7/8" heims on uppers and front lowers. Rear lowers use 1.25" heims

Other: Rear sway bar, rock lights, led rear tail light, headlights. Longacre gauges. 16 Gallon fuel cell.
