Anybody see the shooting video where the ole boy just stands there holding his beer while bullets rain down, then he flips off the shooter, I would love to hear him interviewed lol.

Yep, pretty sure he even takes a long swig from his tallboy budlight.

If it weren't for political correctness, BL should make a commercial out of that clip Lol.

Would have been some **** for a .308 round to blow the back of his head out while they were filming. Then it would be Darwinism...but instead, this time natural selection was averted.

I had this conversation in traffic this morning. So this is funny to me.

So why is a different way of thinking or the process of fact checking and validating any less crazy than without a doubt believing any city, state or federal employee?

I think a lot of us scoff in the same way at people who just go along with what they are fed.

In mentioning the "9/11. . . . really?"
comment.

Let's say I meet a couple of you at a wheeling event. In conversation I mention that I was cutting some 8" I beam in my shop the other day. I told you that in the middle of my cut, I ran out of propane. Luckily I had a couple extra small ones in my attic left over from a camping trip. Then I was able to finish my cut. Phew

What is your answer? Ok so I'll guess. Just about all of you would say BULLLCRAP!! Right?

Why, because propane will never get hot enough to heat 1/4" steel to the point of melting on top of the fact that a propane torch doesn't have an oxygen button to blow the molten metal out of the way?

So let's say I say the same exact thing to a group of Dads on my daughters soccer team. Most likely they will nod their head, smile and maybe say "yeah man, good thing you had those extras"

My point being that when you have knowledge of a certain method that things must be done in or else the end result is impossible, how in your right mind could you not question the validity of the person spewing it?

There is nothing wrong with validating, however, some people go in thinking that there must be something nefarious and search for things to justify there narrative. If they had video of Paddock firing out the window, some, would not believe it. Also, I do not think our government is so bad, that I assume they are lying to us, unless they prove otherwise. I have seen folks that would not believe them if they proved it.

This...if the day footage is ever released of him coming in the hotel with multiple suitcases at any point, someone will say its photoshop, claim the floor in the Mandalay Bay is different, blah blah blah. Something.

I say it all in love too, just to put that out there haha yall can believe whatever you want! :flipper: :-*

Its not about fact checking...its about "sandy hook never happened" and "9/11 was an inside job" and "Vegas was the government" when you have no proof of it. In fact there is overwhelming proof of the opposite if you would look at the facts (and crazy people) and not just assume the government did it. Do you know how many people it would take to be involved for something like that to happen and not crumble? Every single one of those people would need to hold their story for the rest of their lives and never slip up. Do you think that would happen? You arent being "fed" anything really. Yes, they are withholding some info at the moment as there is an investigation going on...but to some people (not saying you, just in general) no matter if they gave you every bit of evidence, you wouldnt believe it...

There are crazy people out there. Crazy people do crazy things. No amount of rational can explain it.

But fact checking is certainly welcomed; we need that as a society, I totally agree....but when the evidence points to something, then believe it! Searching for justification of a certain belief will never result in clean proof, its always biased - especially when you are looking in from the outside of the crime tape.

Just my opinion though!

Problem is that when the government out right lies as much as ours does that it makes it impossible to trust them and easy to always make them a guilty party. Especially when real evidence about the War on Drugs, Gulf of Tonkin, and Operation Northwoods comes out shows just how ****ing shady our government is.

That wouldn't be difficult, really. Not supporting theory, just saying if an elite gov't official told you if you slipped up in any way and told someone the real story, you and your family will wind up dead Clinton style. They'll keep their mouth shut. Hell think of how many Masons there are, ever heard what goes on inside the fraternity? Me either. molaugh

NBC is reporting a phone charger that didn't match paddock's phone was in the room, plus his keycard was used to access his room while he was supposedly not at the casino.

Not sure why there isn't camera footage in the hallway... even basic Hampton inns have cameras in the damn hallway

Re:

I think there is lots of footage, they just aren't ready to release it yet. Saw press conference earlier where one of the law enforcement (sheriff looking guy) said he was not aware of the allegation of his room key beimg used while Paddock's car was gone from the garage. (A reporter asked the question and he wasn't aware of the claim).

But that's also kinda the point. Who is "the government" in this? They aren't the ones releasing details, they aren't the ones that are eyewitnesses, they aren't the ones that were there.

I get it, the government does some shady ****. But they didn't do this. A crazy unhinged sad sack of **** did.

When I get to the casino tomorrow in Philadelphia, I may greet them at the desk and say "Hi. Stephen Paddock, checking in..." :rolf:

But you don't think there would be someone willing to take that risk? What about the people with no family? What about the guy who doesn't care about his life anymore? Or the one who is on his deathbed and wants to leak some info? There are people willing to risk it all and sacrifice their whole lives to be whistleblowers on something as simple as misappropriated government funds...what makes you think someone wouldn't be willing to risk it over something as huge as this? Or 9/11?

They wouldn't choose anybody to do the dirty work that they didn't have something valuable they could threaten to take away. I mean Edward Snowden blew his whistle on some bullshit and didn't change much at all really. molaugh

I'm sure if he ever came back to the U.S. that mofo would be offed in a hurry.

Kinda missing my point though...the amount of "dirty work" people to do something like 9/11 or Vegas is astronomical. There are thousands of variables in something like that and it would need to run perfectly and avoid any inkling of a possibility of something random like a guest across the hall waking out of the room the same time he was opening his with guns all over the place in view...

They would need EVERYONE on board to get something like that under the rug...

But it's all just my opinion on it! People are obviously welcome to believe what they want to - some amount of questioning is certainly helpful. But it can also definitely cross a line over into "tin foil" really quickly too :stir:

For sure, I just like discussion, not pressing any theory more than the other. Just ready for more info to be released. Lol
