Thinking about a little project on down the road and I'd like to use the d44 wagoneers.
I'll take some built(if the price is right) or stock if that's all I can find

Thanks

Just a bit of info for ya, the offset waggy rear is pretty uncommon and is actually an AMC 20. Pretty sure it only came in the '79/80 waggies with the quadratrac,

My brothers buggy has a offset dana 44 from a wagoner. Forsure not a AMC 20

X2

I had a late 80s waggy with an offset d44 rear.

Ever consider a chevy steer in front and a ford steer in the rear?

That's the setup I'm working on now.

I built a samurai a while back with the d44s like I'm looking for now. Pretty much just looking for a light weight set up that's offset rear. Going to try and make it a steering axle in the rear too. ...honda buggy. Standard rotation motor

What are you working on gofast? It is a bronco rear?

Berrien sandrail frame... 1.6 16v auto (at least gonna try auto) track kick doubler into either sammy or dana 18 ....
78 ferd high pinion in rear chebby in front... Both from fullsize pickups.
5.38's e lockers 37 iroks, staun's....
Full hydro 4WS...

If you want 4WS and offset axles it's a no brainer to use two fronts tho I'd say low pinion in rear if you plan much power.

The offset 44's are very common. The came in every full size 78, 79 Waggy and Cherokee chief with Quadra trac ever built. And it is a 44. The off set 20's were in the cj's with Quadra Trac and the 20's that came in the waggy's were centered. I've got a set of the 44's. Was building a small buggy but really don't have the time to finish. I'll take what I have in them which is $450.
