An exerpt from Our FB Page... I Just want to start off by saying Thank You! Because of the huge generosity, our first annual trash clean up event (Walker Valley Hefty Haul Out) was a huge success. The weather may of tried to hold us down but beings the type of group we are and what we do, we adapted and concured the northwest washington liquid sunshine. Here are some of the stats on how we did. We had members from 5 different clubs which totaled 33 ORV users that signed in to the event. Those users ranged from kids to adults and 4x4’s to ATV. These users were able to log over 300 hours of volunteer time. Those hours will be used to further aid DNR to go after grants for this local area. Within the 5 hours of the event those users were able to pick up 680 pounds of garbage. We then sorted out 80 pounds to be recycled. Due to the large amount of positive feedback surrounding this event it looks like we will definitely be doing it again. Without the great support from our local businesses, public, and the recreational users, events like this could never happen. From all of us with the Rainier Ridge Rams we say THANK YOU!
