I am looking for Spider gears, ring gears, pinions, wheel bearings, timing chains, bike chains, sprockets, coil springs, pretty much anything of that nature. Also, old tractor or farm equipment parts OR suggestions on some good places to dig around for this kind of stuff.

I am willing to pay shipping on a box of small stuff if you want to do that.

This is an intriguing post. What the devil are you planning to do with old, rusty parts other than need to get an updated tetanus shot?

I'd go hang out at a scrap yard and pick up what I could, people haul in some interesting ****.

Ive often thought about welding all my broken parts together to make a trophy! :****:

One of the sponsors for the annual Wouned Warrior Rock Ride at MMORV does that every year with busted parts that come through his shop -- many of them mine -- and it gets awarded for the most broke trophy.

I hear about people finding good **** in scrap yards all the time but the ones I've been too around here (recyclers) won't let you go scavenging. Maybe I haven't found the right one.

Awesome! I haven't been there but have been meaning to go by and check them out. Sounds like a trip is in order.
