Found a lincoln 100 welder at the pawn shop the other day. Tested it in the store and discovered it wasnt working properly. It wont feed the wire. Had it listed for 200 offered him 100 Figured id take a chance on it and hopefully find an easy fix for it if not Im not out that much. Anyway wondering if anyone can direct me to someone who may be able to help me repair it near oak harbor or within a reasonable distance lol?

Clean that bitch, clean the liner, take it apart and blow air thru it.

Clean the area where the rollers are. and if there was any old wire in it eith replace it with new or inspect it real close. if the wqire is even dirty it wont feed right.

clean and tighten all the electrical connections.

that is all stuff i have to do to mine once in a while to keep it running smooth.:redneck:

It turns on but when you pull the trigger its like the motor is bogging down.

I would pull the wire out of it, and flip up your top drive roll. That will be putting no pressure on your power drive roll. If issue stops, you know it is something like a bad liner or wire. If issue continues, then its got to be something with the drive motor.
