I just started running a spool of J.W. Harris .030 wire, and it runs noticably smoother than the Lincoln .030 I was running before.

Am I whacked? Anybody have any opinions on these two brands?

you get what you pay for, a higher end wire will have more nickle in it and a better quality of a refined copper.

We tried the new copperless wire that came out about a year ago and it ran fine and was cheaper too.

after awhile it don't matter what you run, just weld it. :haha: :redneck:

I noticed on my smaller welder that new wire was a lot better than the real old wire that was in it when I bought it:redneck:

OK... So do you know if the J.W. Harris is the good stuff? I don't think the price was anything out of the ordinary...
