2001 Toyota Tacoma extended cab. 2.7L & 5spd with ~125k on the odometer.
Hardcore crawler yet still totally streetable. Drove it 500 miles at 70mph once with no issues and is still my primary DD.

Engine:
Northwest off road header
New exhaust about a year ago
180 amp Mean Green alternator
Red top Optima battery
Polyurethane engine mounts

Suspension:
Alcan custom leaf springs front and rear. The front springs are for a first generation Toyota Truck for 4 inches of lift. The rear springs are for a Tacoma 6 inches of lift.
Bilstein 5150's on all corners.
SAS kit is Front Range off-road.
Flexes great and rides great on the street too.

Wheels/Tires:
37" Mickey Thompson MTZ with 80% tread on 17 inch pro comp wheels. **OR**
35" Firestone Destination MT's with 80% tread on 17" Fuel wheels.

Front Axle: Ford high pinion Dana 44 with Yukon 4.88's, ARB locker, chromoly axles, CTM U-joints, High Steer, 1 ton ball joints & bracketry for a hydro ram already present. New Brake calipers, rotors and SS extended brake lines as well as new hubs and bearings. Tom Wood's custom driveshaft with long spline and a super flex U-joint. U-bolt flip kit.

Rear Axle: E-locker with Yukon 4.88's, U-bolt flip kit and E-locker skid plate.

Transfer Cases:
Crawl box is Inch Worm with 4.7 gears.
Rear case is a V6 Tacoma case, with a Front Range cross member clocked 15 degrees.
(stock case is not twin sticked)

Interior:
Volvo leather seats, rubber floor mats, power windows and locks. AC and heat work great. Factory Toyota dual-din CD/Tape/FM/AM stereo and a Basic CB.

Armor:
Front Bumper: Badland bumper, KC lights, and a Warn 9.5ti with 3/8" Synthetic line.
Sliders: square sliders
Underneath: Custom skid extension to cover the crawler and combined into a transmission mount.
Rear: CBI rear bumper that wraps around the bed of the truck and has 2" receiver and trailer wiring present.

Other:
Safari Snorkel.
Diamond plate bed box full of spare parts and special tools.
Full sized (37") BFG MT spare mounted in bed.
48" jack mounted in bed.
Silver Star headlight bulbs.
Rear sliding window and rear vent windows (manual).
Trimmed fenders.
New driver's side ball joints.
ARB air compressor.
White bed shell/camper top available if wanted.

Problems:
Has a couple of major dents and a few minor dents; plenty of scratches here and there.
Ignition cylinder is broken but has been thoughtfully redesigned with a push button system.
Passenger side rear vent window latch is broken (locks closed, but won't lock open). New OEM Toyota replacement included, but not installed.
ARB locker needs seals replaced. Locker usually works but compressor runs constantly when engaged.

Currently located in Memphis TN but delivery is possible within 500 miles.
Only trying to sell it to thin my fleet for an upcoming move. :gtfo:

Asking $12,000

Re: 01 SAS Tacoma $12,000

Sad to see it go, but it's a good truck. GLWS, Steve :dblthumb:

Thanks Jordan. I think you're the only other person that's driven it since I've owned it :****:
Too bad you didn't really get to wheel it (.....or DID you.....???)

I hate to sell it too; I actually really enjoy having it as my DD. And believe it or not, even though I have the Gecko, I enjoy wheeling it too.
