Traded for this pile of parts. Who doesn't need a rigid tail, nitrous powered drag bike?......this guy, that's who. But now I have one :)

I would like to think it won't be in boxes for ever.

I would like to have it together for at least one spray down the interstate, then immediately sell it before I kill myself. Then again, it might end up going to the store for a show piece as well. Who doesn't like a cool bike parked in their local liquor store?

Re:

I want something similar to just ride on sunny days, I will be watching you build it for sure!!

Kel, you have a finishing problem. Sit it in the corner and work on one to get you back in the woods.

I think its a starting problem. Too many ideas, too many shiny objects. The ****yota would be done if it wasn't for this damned weather. Salting the parking lot, winterizing the camper and tying up loose ends. Plus, my wife showed me the last few weeks of my life on a calendar. I really have to slow down and smell some roses. Too much going on, all the time.

And yes, I definitely do have a finishing problem. Store has three projects I've been hankering to get done. But, if they are finished I get all out of whack and start looking for things to do. Comfort in projects might be my motto, I just haven't stated as such.

John, you make it to the park yet?

I'm also one of those that needs multiple projects. I completely understand. I don't ever stop working all together. I just bounce from one to the other. It works for me. What all is done to the motor?

Re:

He is getting me a build sheet. I am NOS retarded. I know it has been bored and some head work has been done, but no real idea at this point.

I am going to get up with him next week and get the detail's.

Been going through boxes of parts. I am going to load them all up and talk to a buddy that comes in the store about putting it back together.

I am still unboxing everything. Mr Piper, you speak Greek to this guy. I am working on getting some info. I can ride bikes, but know very little about them. I am going to try and get it to roller status tomorrow.

Cleaned all the dirt off of every piece.....mounted the rear tire, made vroom, vroom noises. I looked up part numbers and tried to figure out what was missing.

It has never had a seat, transmission cover is fubared, one of the rear strut supports is missing the hardware to hold it in place and it needs fuel lines. May be some other small pieces that I need to locate.

Has an H5 Clippard SDR 17-3

Looking for the rest of the pieces in the above picture. There is nothing on the forks currently, but the throttle and a caliper on the wrong side of the bike.
