Who stocks Fox 2.0 CO shim stacks on the east coast?

Need to change the valving a bit more... went too light with the last shim stacks I got from Poly but I don't want to wait a week or pay out the ass to get them here faster. Who has the hookup?

Thanks,
Adam

Wide Open just carries stock valving as of 2 or 3 weeks ago.

No sure about the other two.

Poly Performance carries them but you will pay 15 in shipping.

Chris at Alltech is the most resonable. Unfortunately he is on the left coast.

Not sure if the OP is looking for pre set valving or just valving to work with. If you just need more valving, I'd think whatever WOD has would get you the additional valving you want. Just ask. Or if you want pre done, I'd suggest contacting Chris@ Alltech or Accutune. Both are on the forum but not the east coast.

I called looking for 30 rebound 90 compression they didnt have it.

I went from a 50/80 to a 30/50 on all 4 corners. As it was jarringly rough. Now the front is too soft, blows through travel and dives under braking. The rear is pretty close but still a bit rough through small bumps. I think a flutter stack there would work better.
Fronts 100 over 150 spring
rear 100 over 125 spring

Aluminum 5.3
Th350
atlas
1.75 DOM
All alum panels
It's fairly "lite" for what it is. I currently have about 1.5" of preload on the springs. I am only running 5.5" ish up in the front and 6.5ish up in the rear.... I plan to rework the front (chassis&COtabs) to allow for a bit more up travel.

I didn't have time yesterday as I left work early and put a deposit down on a used enclosed goose neck!

I'll call around today and see what I can find for help/suggestions and what's in stock.

Thanks guys,
Adam

Have you checked with EOR? As much tuning as Jimmy has done in sure he can get you hooked up quick and cheap! 1 (615) 893-8814

I just ordered 2 2.0`s and did a 70c/50r valving for my TJ. Figured it was a good starting point. Haven`t put them on yet. I have a set of stock valved 50/70 now that are to soft for the front. Gonna try them on the back.

Just as a wild guess judging by your spring rates you are close to me in weight. Try this as it should get you in the ballpark and if it's stiff on the slow stuff use a flutter.
Front
90 compression
30 rebound
Rear
80 compression
30 rebound.

Following, I hope more people post what they are running and the details of their rigs. Without knowing anybody who does this or any good info on real world use It's hard to know what to change to. Please post how the new setup effects the ride. Also any info on a flutter stack. I just changed my stacks to I think 50/70 but also changed to a way lighter spring setup on the new buggy build. I haven't had enough testing yet to see what I need to do.

I went ahead and purchased the Fox shim kit to avoid having this issue. It's pricey, but allows me to test and tune all day if needed.

My buggy weighed in at 4330, sprung weight was 2490, 1273 fr, 1213 rr.. Spring rates were 100/175 f, 100/150 rear. I did a 2-2-1 stack of .015's on compression, and straight .008's on rebound. (Roughly a #105 by Fox charts for 2.5 c/o, although I had 2" shocks.) After one ride I did add a slight flutter after the first dbl stack. Btw, this was the same on all 4 corners.

Once I unloaded to tune with Wayne, after the test ride, he asked what more I wanted because he felt we were already at 80%. So he changed one shim per shock, iirc it was the 2nd shim of the first dbl to a thinner of the same diameter, and upped my pressure to 235psi. Fortunately we only opened each shock once, but he still taught us a lot throughout the session.

Matt
