Will a stock LT1 work in my YJ?

Trying to gather some input. My current Lt1 needs a rebuild due to a low end knock and I'm trying to figure out whether to replace it or go another route. It was running great with 35" tires, 4.56 gearing, & atlas 4.3. My end goal is to go to 40" tires and I want to know if a stock LT1 will be enough power for trail riding/crawling. I know more power is better, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to break the bank yet...

Try it out, if it's not low enough put lower gears in the axles.

Yes, it will have plenty of power. Mine has LT1 , TH350, Atlas 4.3, 4.10 axle gears and 39 Reds. Plenty of power. No hotrod but not a slug either.
