Sold/Expired Winters shifter

I have one. It currently has a modified PG shift gate in it, but I also have a TH350 gate and installation kits for both. It's the flush mount style. It's new, but does have a few small scratches on it from being installed and removed. I just ended up needing a shifter with a front exit cable so I went with a B&M.

Do you have a link to what you are referring to? The winters shifters I am used to dealing with can be switched from front to rear cable and back again so I'm a little confused ...

This is the shifter I have. Unless I'm thinking about it wrong if you moved the cable to the front of this one you'd be pushing instead of pulling to shift.

It's been years since I did it but I believe you can just switch sides that the end of the cable comes at the shift arm from and it push / pulls the correct direction again. So if it's a rear cable the cable comes at the trans from behind. If it's a front cable the cable comes at the trans from the front. But either way I'm interested. PM me your price ...

I have a winters sidewinder. New but mocked up on a turbo 400

Haha, I wasn't aware there were so many models. What is a Sidewinder? I thought there was only one Winters Shifter! :)

You're probably right. I didn't take much time to see about flipping it. The bracket that holds the cable was going to take up too much room for me anyway. IMO the Winters is a better shifter, but the B&M just worked out better for me.

Re:

Yes, you can clock the cable bracket up to 180*. I clocked mine down to the second hole on the install in my buggy. It's a little aggravating to do but it's a very useful feature.

Sent you a pm. I also have a Fairbanks gate shifter for a 400 trans with reverse pattern. Used in good shape
