Nice trailer. Build thread on it? I just recently switched a trailer over to 8k pound torsion axles with 17.5 rims. Pulls twice as good over a leaf spring with 16 wheels.

Man I took a ton of pictures during the build but recently lost them all when the SD card in my phone died. When I bought my axles, wheels and tires, they were mounted to the base structure of an enclosed trailer that was currently in the process of being built by a manufacturer that went out of business. The trailer was only about 1/4 of the way finished when I purchased it, no walls or ceiling, no electrical and the floor was filled with foam insulation because the initial trailer build was intended to be climate controlled. When I first bought my jeep, I actually pulled it around like this quite a bit.

So for the new re-build I basically just cut the trailer up, removed the axles, and started over from scratch. (2) 2"x4" 3/16 rectangle tubes run the length of the trailer just inside the wheels and the outside was boxed with 6" channel flipped with the C facing out. From there everything was gusseted with angle and spare tube I had at work. The fenders were built from 2x2 and 2.5x2.5 tube for the most part. All of the perforated plate that lines the fenders I picked up for cheap at the scrap yard. I built the trailer in my spare time so it took 3-4 months to complete but overall I'm completely happy with the transformation. The deck 27'6" long and 96" wide. Total hitch to tail length is 31'6"
