Hey guys. I have a 99 cherokee with the chrystler 8.25 rear and HP dana 30 front. I have stock gears and 33's, its a dog. I am not so sure about doing gears myself. Watched my neighbor do it for me on the ZJ that I had a while back. I have just about all the tools minus the beam torque wrench and dial indicator....Just everyone says it is a pain and leads me to not want to attempt it.
Looking for something with 4.11's or 4.56 gears in it. I don't care if its another 8.25 and HP dana 30 setup, or if it is something like a Ford 8.8 or 9" rear with a D44 front...etc
Would also buy a complete cherokee if the axles were under it, or if it had something like frame damage/bad motor or trans...etc, but had a nice long arm kit on it.
Located in 62930 Eldorado, IL and willing to travel a bit for the right deal depending on what it is. Let me know what ya got.
