Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend we got a small group together to run Turtle Creek and our newest edition Staircase......with a new section to the Staircase;

What a great trip, great friends, actually more Toyota's than Jeeps :hilarious:, great weather, great trails..... the new upper Staircase section is awesome and will be the normal route from now on I'm sure;

The first big step on Staircase was pretty dry so I thought I'd try another line;

I was hard on the frame and sliders so I moved around a bit to see but no luck, I opted for the normal way up, TC followed me up then was Jay;

Nate wanted to try the optional line;

He also framed out hard and opted for the main line, Chuck also crawled the main line.

We moved up the the next steps;

This is the 2nd of a series of obstacles all take place over a 150 yard stretch, there are 5 in all and they are spread apart well until the last 2. Keep in mind we all have 37" tires except for the Blue Bird which has heavily worn 40" Maxxis CC's;

And after we all flopped around on these Chuck just crawled right through without spinning a tire or moving a rock;

Another 40 yards or so and the last 2 steps that are about 20 feet apart but not as big...... yet, more soft sand at the bottom of each make them interesting;
