So I have my 91 Yota with stock drivetrain. I have recently acquired 98-01 Tacoma V6 5-speed tranny and t-case. How hard and any benefit to making the tranny work?
But most important can I use tha t-case as my 2nd one to make a doubler for my truck?
Has anyone done this or seen this done?
Better off selling this stuff?
opinions?
Thanks

You could use your existing (4cyl?) tcase for a doubler if you want to switch to left hand drop... Lots of adapters and $$$ plus the small differential on the wrong side issue... If your existing is a V6, you're scrood! :redneck: :haha:

I cant see any advantage to it, for what you would have to spend in adapters to make it work, you might as well just but a $50 4cyl t-case and a dual case adapter and save yourself a whole lot of headache and money. The tacoma t-case is chain driven i think.....:puke:

Sell it to some tacoma owner who is in need....

The adapter is $649! Thats just to get a crawl box on the taco case.
