yota tranny and x-case

so i thought i had a w56 and a top shift but i looked at it today and its not..
the tranny has the t-case shifter on it instead of on the t-case.. its a 5sp ..
so what tranny and t-case do i have. and what years were they from? carburated motors right?

No such thing as G56. Go to the marlin link above, he's got pics of all the models that exist. It may be a forward shifting W56

You can tell between the W56 and G52 by the bell housing... the W56 has 3 lines that run down the side and the G52 has 2 lines that run down the side.. thats how i recognize em and the turbo trannys have like a webed design :awesomework:

and then the L series are hella short

also if it came out of an sr5 i think that they all have the w56 besides the oldies

ya i meant a g52 so its either a g52 or a g54 either way anyone need one of those and a t-case?

never heard of a g54 :eeek:

G52 has the 2 webs that run down the side.. notice in picture
