The insurance companies are pouring money in to fight this because the govt plan is competition. They stand to lose a lot of $$ if this passes
Well since you know everything about my financial income. :rolleyes:
We know that you can afford 4 LCD TVs, and probably a good number of other non-essential things.
So it appears that you can afford health care insurance. It's that you just don't want to pay for it and are gambling that you won't need it.
Why should I have to pay more taxes to pay for your health care and subsidize your non-essential luxuries?
Dr. Evil? :lol:750 trillion debt within 100 days.....:rolleyes:
I see your point, but I feel that my company I work for should man up and provide health insurance like every other decent company out there.
Don't like it, get a better/different job. It's not fawking rocket science... My employer honestly can't afford to give me health insurance and I really don't want to strap myself to a monthly bill that big either so I'm on the hunt for a different job that pays better and will at least assist in insuring myself and peanut. :;
My .02
I have one question, accually an observation, ... With my HMO, any operation/prceedure/meds my Dr. orders for me must be OK'ed by the HMO before I can get it. Only prblem I see with this is the people authorising my medical treatments/meds/ect are NOT Doctors ! How, or better Why are Non Dr's deciding what meds/proceedures/ect I need? They even say NO to meds my Dr. wants me to have ? It all boils down to the all mighty $$$ ! That simple ! OK, next, .... :eeek: Sorry to have gotten off topic, NO, I do not like / want anything this government wants to ram down our throats ! It is not good for me, for you or for America ! Nothing this government has done has been good for America ! All I can say is, .. " ENOUGH" !
Your right, the insurance companies are all about the $$$ if they weren't abusing the free market system the govt' wouldn't have to step in
